My condolences to the Tandy family

Mrs. Tandy was a delightful person I had a chance to work with her after she retired at her beloved Mattie T. Blount High School. I've never seen another person who cared so much for their Alma Mater. She definitely had that Blount High School spirit! She was also a fun person to be around and I loved her passion she had for her family, especially her siblings and grandchildren. She will definitely be missed in the community.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. May God comfort this family now and always

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Ms. Tandy touched so many lives in a positive and loving way including mine. We shared a love for educating the youth and deep passion for the Mighty Leopards of Mattie T. Blount HS. She helped me greatly with advice and assistance in the classroom and as a coach. Even more importantly she was a tremendous friend. May God grant us all comfort and strength as we mourn her loss, especially the family.

To my family from another mother! Flettie and the Hudson family have been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I extend to you Denise, Michael, Sandra and the entire Tandy and Hudson families my sincere condolences. I am so sorry that I will not be with physically, but know that I am with you in the spirit. I met Ms. Tandy and some of you about 11 years ago, and from the very beginning, she treated me like family. Every time I saw her, she welcomed me with kindness and love. She was a truly special woman who will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. May you find peace and strength in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
