Ms. Ruby Patterson Grissett, age 72 Native of Dawes, Al and resident of Mobile passed this life Friday June 7, 2019 in a local hospital.

She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by 2 aunts, 6 uncles, 8 brothers and daughter, Lachandra Benjamin.

She leaves to cherish her memories 2 loving & Devoted sons, Galvin Phillips and Howard (Ashley) Pompey, Jr both of Mobile, AL . two grandchildren, Takayla Williams and Ashton Pompey. (3) Loving and Devoted Sisters, Evelyn Williams, Dortha Mays of Tx and Gloria Davis of Mobile, AL . (4) Brothers, Simon(Willie Mae) Golston and Larry McCall both of Mobile, AL ; Jerome Golston of Detroit, MI and Forrest Patterson of Snellville, GA; one Aunt Margaret McCall of Mobile, AL and a host of Neices, Nephews Cousins other relatives and friends (1) Devoted, Josephine Pettway of Mobile, AL .

Public Viewing~ Friday June 14, 2019 at the Chapel of Jackson's Mortuary from 3pm~ 6:30 PM and Sat June 15, 2019 @ Friendship Baptist Church (Cody Rd) Mobile, Al 36608 from 10am until the 11am Life Celebration with Rev. Dr Corey Brown, Pastor and Officiating Minister. The Earthly Bed of Rest will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, Theodore, Al The Final and Most Sacred Arrangements is Entrusted to the Elite Dignified staff of Samuel Jackson Mortuary, Ltd 271 North Cody Road , Mobile, AL.
