Anthrum "Boot" Burgess, 85, husband of Thomasina McClary Burgess, died June 30, 2026 at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, SC. He was born September 4, 1940 in Kingstree, SC. A son of the late Wallace and Emma Jane Redden Burgess.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2026 from the Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Homegoing services will be held 12 Noon Friday, July 10, 2026 from the St. Mary United Methodist Church, 2052 Sumter Highway, Kingstree, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.
