Manning, SC
Betty Dingle Levy, daughter of the late Mary Dingle Ellis and Henry C Jones and stepfather the late Sam Ellis, was born December 15,1966 in the Davis Station community of Clarendon County.
She received her education in the public schools of Clarendon County and a 1986 graduate of Scott’s Branch High School, Summerton, South Carolina.
Being reared in a Christian home, she joined White Oak A.M.E Church and later joined Triumph the Church Kingdom of God in Christ where she served on the Kitchen Committee, Youth Director and the Usher Board.
She was employed at Bosch for 25 years until closing, then she became employed with the Clarendon County Disability Board. Later she was employed with Trimaco until her health failed.
She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Leon Ronnie Levy and this union was blessed with two daughters.
On Thursday, June 17, 2021 at McLeod Health Clarendon, Manning, South Carolina God called His loving Angel Home.
Those who remain to grow from being loved by her: two daughters, Vanessa Dingle and Latoya Levy both of Manning SC; two stepsons, Jermaine Pearson and Dassamine Pearson both of Atlanta GA; one niece she reared as her daughter, Shantel Dingle; three grandsons, Marquell Lawson, Jo’Quell Jackson, Kamori Dingle all of Manning, SC; one granddaughter, Skylar Stukes of Manning SC; 2 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew that refer to her as grandma, Zamir Watson, Zakariya Watson and Londyn Grant all of Manning, SC; one sister, Felicia Ellis of Manning, SC; four brothers, Jimmy Ellis, Ricky Mellerson both of NY, Sammy (Ianthe) Ellis of Maryland and James Dingle of Manning, SC; five brothers-in -law, James(Lillian) Levy, Jr., Eugene Levy, Sylvester (Cynthia) Levy all of Manning, SC, Joe Levy, Micheal (Yolanda)Levy both of North Carolina; five sisters-in- law, Daisy(William)Jones, Arlene Russell both of Maryland, Danielle(Tim)Gibbs, Dorothy Levy both of Manning, SC and Jacqueline Harrison of Columbia, SC; one uncle, Moses (Dorothy) Dingle; one grand aunt, Mother Daisy Ragin; two cousins she took as sisters, Tracy Adams and Lillie Hammett; three special cousins, Modestine McKenzie, Deloris Dingle, and Helen Dingle; one goddaughter, Ladoshia Sinkler; two special men she took as sons, Lamonte Dingle and Dalvin Stukes; one extended grandson and granddaughter, Lamaria Dingle and Isaiah Fulton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends
Funeral services for Mrs. Levy will be held 11:00AM Friday, June 25, 2021 at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ, 1285 Pearson Road, Manning, SC. Elder Sampson Pearson, Pastor, officiating.
The family is receiving friends at her residence, 1094 Hollywood Road, Manning, SC.

WHEREAS, Sister Betty Ann Dingle Levy being a forever Saint of Triumph, we the Officers and Members of 4th Episcopal District TRIUMPH local churches of: Chester, Columbia, Cheraw, Davis Station, Concord & Oak Ridge (South Carolina) and (North Carolina) do share in condolences for the family with an everlasting Love of God. We further believe that all tears shed by the family will water barren places and fertile the seeds to a divine recovery in Love.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we remember and honor the astonishing achievements of Sister Betty Ann Dingle Levy with a demonstration of continuous work in Triumph and a supportive love to her family.
