Calvin Mellerson Sr., 73, husband of Barbara Dow Mellerson, died Monday, June 22, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC. He was born May 17, 1953, in Summerton, SC. A son of the late Bertie Mellerson Sr. and Queen Marion Mellerson.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2026 from the Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Celebratory services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2026 from the Mt. Zion AME Church, 6547 M W Rickenbaker Rd., Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.
