Deacon Lloyd Robert Starks, 67, husband of Evangelist Mary Wilson Starks died Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Black River โMUSC , Kingstree, SC. He was born January 2, 1959 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. A son of Doris Cooper Starks and the late Richard Starks.
Public viewing 2PM til 6PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.
Celebration of life 12 Noon Friday, January 23, 2026 Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 95 C. E. Murray Blvd. Greeleyville, SC. Burial will follow in Cow Head Cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at his residence, 25 Nassau Rd., Greeleyville, SC beginning Friday, January 16, 2026 12 Noon til 8PM daily.

Mary When I received the news from Gerald, it truly saddened me. I always thought that you and Lloyd made such a sweet couple. A couple that was truly committed to one another. The life you built together is a legacy of love that your children and grandchildren, will cherish. It's a blessing to have experienced that kind of love in this lifetime.
