A daughter of the late Thomasine Cain and Johnny Robert, step-daughter of Charlie Pearson, Sr. and adoptive daughter of Julia Mae Cain Pearsonam

Joan's passing is so abrupt - Suddenly acceptance is required β During the silence of your/our loneliness (missing her) and as we struggle to adjust to her passing, please let us be cognizant that we have each other for support and to share memories of her. Without a doubt, next to GOD, she loved her sons β You are the men you are because of her hard work at Jackson Memorial Hospital. No one size fits all in grieving and words seem so meaningless and fruitless. However, which process we take in acceptance, let us be mindful that "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Your Mother was so loving, giving and caring. Indeed, a gem.
