Emma Louise James Dowe, 77, widow of Rufus Dowe died Friday, October 7, 2022 at her residence, 2035 Elliott Rd., Pinewood, SC. She was born October 23, 1944 in Darlington, SC. A daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Joint James.
Emma was preceded in death by her children, Michael James, Archie “Regina” Torain and Andrea “Alonzo” Green.
She leaves to cherish her memory of one daughter, Toni Mitchell and son in law, Michael Jerrold Mitchell of Pinewood, SC. Grandchildren reared in the home: Michael Jerrold Mitchell Jr., Isaiah Emmanuel Mitchell, Jacob Alexander Mitchell, Myren Walker, Aaliyah Natania Mitchell. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
