Glenda James Covington, 70, died Monday, June 9, 2025, at Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Fayetteville, NC. She was born September 21, 1954, in Davis Station, SC. A daughter of the late William James and Florence Carter James Burgess.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Homegoing services for Ms. Covington will take place 1:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2025, at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Rd, Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery, Davis Station, SC.
