Summerton, SC
Hester Ann Hilton Richardson, daughter of Elease Dingle Hilton and the late Edward Hilton, was born November 13, 1950 in the Jordan Community of Clarendon County. She was preceded in death by a son, Willie Edward Richardson and a brother, Edmond Hilton.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County and was a graduate of Manning High School, Class of 1972.
In her youth, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Federal Mogul for several years until her health failed.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie Marion Richardson, Jr. and this union was blessed with two sons.
Hester was very a very affectionate, kind person, always willing to help in any way she could. She loved to laugh and to make others laugh with the many antics she would exhibit. Throughout all of her illnesses, she never complained--she would always say "I'm alright".
