Irwin Baker, 59, husband of Stephanie Baker, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, GA. He was born November 16, 1964, in Bridgeport, CT. A son of Centry Gamble and the late Ida Ree Baker.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2024 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. John AME Church, Workman Community of Kingstree, SC. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

Irwin was a quiet kind spirited man. I will fondly reflect on our time together as students at Benedict & members of the ROTC program.
