My bestest friend, I still can't put into words what this means to my heart. My protector, my friend, my listener.. As I think about the poetry you wrote and the songs you sung on the back of the bus on our rides home, my heart smiles because i think of that smile. The excitement you would have when you finished a new writing peace or the way you would listen attentively to every word I spoke. Leaving you in SC and moving to NY was one of the hardest things I had to do. But you always said BowLegz, distance could never destroy our friendship. I'll hold onto that forever.
