Matthew Lewis Ragin, 62, husband of Betty Jo βPennyβ Bowman Ragin, died Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1964 in Manning, SC. A son of Rosa Mae Dupree Ragin and the late Russel Ragin Jr.
Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.
Celebration of life will be held 2PM Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Friendship AME Church, Silver Community of Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.
The family is receiving friends starting Monday, March 2, 2026, 12 Noon til 7:00 PM daily, at his residence, 6431 Tobias Rd. Manning, SC.
