MSG Jimmy Lee Mathis, ARMY (Ret.), 64, husband of Kimberly Garner Mathis, died Friday, March 17, 2023 at his residence, 2153 Kings Forest Dr. SE, Conyers, GA. He was born November 29, 1958 in Rimini, SC. A son of Willie Mae Brailsford Mathis and the late Joe Mathis, Sr.
Public viewing will be held 2:00PM-6:00PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Clarendon Community Resource, 1154 4th St., Summerton, SC. Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 27, 2023, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.
Family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Ruby Hopkins, 9 North Hampton St., Pinewood, SC.
