Shelvie Harrison Kennedy, 67, widow of James Edward Kennedy died Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter, SC. She was born August 6, 1958 in Alcolu, SC. A daughter of the late Allison McDowell and Sarah James Harrison Jackson.
Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Friday, May 1, 2026 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.
Celebration of life 3PM Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Howard Chapel AME Church, New Zion, SC. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.
