VD Pendergrass, 88, died Thursday, May 22, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, SC. He was born January 15, 1937, in Manning, SC. A son of the late John and Susan McFadden Pendergrass.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2025, at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Celebratory services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Biggers AME Church, 6208 Kingstree Hwy, Manning, SC. Burial will follow in Muldrow Cemetery. Mr. Pendergrass remains will be placed in the sanctuary one hour prior to the time of service.
