William Columbus Frierson, 83, widower of Hazel Richburg Frierson died Friday, May 1, 2026 in Sumter, SC. He was born February 19, 1943 in Summerton, SC. A son of the late James Frierson Sr. and Elease Ballard Frierson.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.
Celebration of life 11 AM Friday, May 15, 2026, at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC. Burial will follow in Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church cemetery, Summerton, SC
The family will be receiving friends, 3:00 PM til 9:00 PM, at the home of his grandchildren, 2850 Forest Lake Dr., Sumter, SC.
