William “Bill” O’Donald Doughty, 82, died Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 7, 1943, in Summerton, SC. A son of the late Williams and Victoria Bowman Doughty.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2026 from the Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Friday, June 26, 2026 from the Historic Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Ln, Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.
The family is receiving friends from 4:00 PM til 6:00 PM at his residence, 2651 House Rd., Summerton, SC.

William (Bill) and I along with our classmates began our early school days at Spring Hill Elementary School. Bill as we affectionately called him, was a quiet, and kind young man. Rest in peace Bill. Family, please know that you are in our hearts during this time of loss. We pray that God's comfort surrounds you, His peace strengthens you, and His love carries you through the days ahead.
