Betty Joyce Reaux was called to eternal rest on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:38 a.m. at Josie’s Personal Care, San Antonio, TX. Betty was born on November 20, 1938 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Lorena B. Moss and Edward Moss. She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, TX . She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorena B. Moss and her father Edward Moss; sisters, Gladys Mae Newcoste, Juanita “Sis” Moss and Barbara Jean Jones. Her son, Kevin Gerard Reaux and her great-granddaughter, Hayley Flewellen.

Betty was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend as she touched lives of so many with her radiant smile, generous spirit and unwavering faith. From a young age, she had an unbreakable personality, inspiring determination and a compassionate heart. Always known for her kindness and laughter, she brought light to those she touched. She graduated from Paul Breaux High School and had a fulfilling career with JC Penney as a Custom Decorator. Her dedication and love for her profession left an indelible mark on those she worked with and customers she assisted.

Above all, Betty cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the lights of her life. Her legacy of love, resilience and compassion for her family will live on in them. Her voice in the family was profound as she always provided sound wisdom and ensured all of us stayed on the right path. She had a strong faith with God and during her active times was involved in the Catholic church. She lived her life according to her and touched so many lives as well as lifted hearts as God used her as one of his angels.

Her loving and precious memories will be left in the hearts of her three children: Bridget Lynch, San Antonio, TX; Dalton Reaux, III (Leticia), Dallas, TX and Brian Reaux (Dianne), Dallas, TX. Six grandchildren, Brittany Flewellen, Drake Reaux, Alexis Reaux, Saxon Reaux, Devin Williams, and Briana Reaux. Six great-grandchildren, Adalynn Reaux,, Dominic Barron, Everly Barron, Madison Flewellen, Evyn Williams, Maisyn Williams and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
