Elizabeth Mercedes Villalobos, age 28, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on August 14, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1997, and on February 13, 2001, she became a forever daughter to Christine Aldridge and Joe Anthony Villalobos.
Elizabeth was known for her radiant smile and joyful spirit. She dedicated her life to serving others—through her years in restaurant service and her pursuit of a nursing degree. She found joy in spending time with her cousins and friends, playing volleyball, traveling, and going on adventures. She especially treasured every moment with her beloved nephew, Augie, who she lovingly referred to as Stinky. He was the light of her life.
Those who knew Elizabeth will always remember how her face lit up when she greeted loved ones and wrapped them in a warm hug. Her presence was magnetic—she could brighten any room she walked into. She carried herself with grace and courage, meeting life’s challenges with calm determination. Whether it was calling on her uncle for help when her car broke down or sharing laughter during family gatherings, Elizabeth lived with a quiet strength and a heart wide open to love.
Her family treasures countless memories: childhood sleepovers filled with snacks and games, Disney trips, birthday parties, holidays, and the simple joy of being together. As an adult, her gentle, nurturing nature shone brightly—like the day she helped her cousin prepare for bridal photos, talking about dreams for the future. These moments are etched in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Anthony Villalobos. Elizabeth is survived by her loving mother, Christine Aldridge; stepdad, Vinton Aldridge; sister, Caroline Villalobos; stepsister, Campbele Aldridge; stepbrothers, Clayton Carson and Collin Aldridge and her cherished nephew, Augustine Villalobos. She is also remembered with love by her grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever carry her spirit with them.
Her warmth, love, and adventurous soul will live on in the memories of all who were blessed to know her. Though she has left this world too soon, her family finds peace in knowing she was held in the hands of God when she closed her eyes in this world and jumped into her father’s arms when she opened her eyes in heaven.
