Mr. Gregory Armstrong, age 60 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Sunday April 14, 2024 at home, he was born September 21, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey to Mr. Mr. Thomas J. and Mrs. Anita (Bess) Armstrong.
Gregory Armstrong attended the Essex County School System in Newark, New Jersey. Where he graduated from Arts High School. After finishing high school, he attended Fashion Institute College in New York City, New York where he received his Bachelor Degree in Graphics Art. He moved to Valdosta, Georgia in 2002 where he attended the Valdosta Technical College School (Wiregrass) where he received his Masterβs Degree in Graphic Design Artist.
Gregory worked for The Valdosta Daily Times for 5 years. as a graphic artist. Greg also worked for several printing companies in Valdosta as a Graphic Artist, The Boardwalk, Spirit and his last employer was Bakerβs Sports Inc., Jacksonville, Florida until his health failed him.
Gregory Armstrong leaves to cherish his memories, one loving daughter Sade Boone and one grandson Caleb Ohanlon, both of Ridgefield, New Jersey; his beloved father and mother Thomas J. and Anita (Bess) Armstrong of Valdosta, Georgia; two brothers Thomas J. Armstrong, Jr. and Patrice of Valdosta, Georgia and Kenneth Armstrong and Duanna of Atlanta, Georgia; three nieces Monica Hendrickson of Newark, New Jersey, Nikita Nichols and (Tyler) and Ayanna Armstrong; one nephew Nayib Armstrong all of Atlanta, Georgia. Greg also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
Greg was loved and will be missed by his family and a host of others.
Graveside service for Mr. Gregory Armstrong will be held, Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 P.M. at Walls Cemetery.
