He leaves to cherish his memories four children John I. Smith Jr., Jerry (Rosa) Sanders, Angelia (Eugene) Walton and Dexter (Paula) Smith; 11 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; brother Robert (Anna) Smith; sister Gwendolyn (Guy) Green and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
Home going service for Mr. John I. Smith will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 A. M. at Crossing Jordan Baptist Church.
