Justin “Lauryn” Turner was born at 3pm on May 11, 1998 in Valdosta, GA to Christie and Henry Turner, Jr.
“Lauryn” attended Valdosta High School and graduated in 2017. She was a proud member of the Marchin’ Cats, playing the tuba. She attended a year at Fort Valley State University, where she continued to play in the band for The Blue Machine.
She still enjoyed watching HBCU marching band videos daily. Lauryn also had a passion for cooking, hair, and makeup—she loved creating meals for others and expressing her creativity through beauty and style.
On , a date that will always be remembered, God called “Lauryn’s” spirit home to Sep 12, 2025 rest.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Turner, Jr.; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Adams; and paternal grandfather, Henry Turner, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother and stepfather, Christie and Antonio O’Neal; her brother, Henry Turner, III; her sisters, Keshona Polite, Ebonee Turner, Shacunna Harris, and Jamyah Turner, her maternal grandfather, Howard Adams; her paternal grandmother, Sarah Hurt; several aunts and uncles; great aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life for Justin Henry (Lauryn) Turner will be held on Saturday, September 20, at 3:00 P M at Scott and Roberts Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Norman Edwards officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 A. M. til 7:00 P.M.
