Obituary For Linda Roberts Thomas
Linda Roberts Thomas was born on October 21, 1958, in Lake Park, Georgia. She was born to Clander Roberts and the late Lanis Roberts Sr. She departed this life on Sunday August 20, 2023, in Madison, Florida.
She attended Lowndes County Schools and graduated from Valdosta Technical College. She worked as a secretary for many years. She dedicated her life to church at an early age. She was a dedicated member of Concord Baptist Church until her health failed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lanes Roberts Sr., her brother Lanes Roberts Jr., her grandson Javon Benton-Knight, and her uncle Tim Young Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Richard Thomas. Three children, Robert Benton II, LaClander Raeshon Benton, and Lacey (James) Neal. Two stepdaughters, Princess (Tony) Gibson and Satchell Thomas. Two brothers, Raymond and Earl Roberts. One sister, Eleanor (Roy Gibson). Eleven grandchildren, Serlacia, Demetrius “Lashawn”, Sermaria, Kashunna, Seriya, SerRaja, Robert III “Trey”, Jamarion, Davon, Dwayne, and Servar “Tookie”. A devoted cousin, Gloria Jean Walls. A devoted nephew, Corey Roberts. A host of nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
Home going service for Mrs. Linda Roberts Thomas will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 2:00 P. M. at Concord Baptist Church Rev. Walker is the Pastor and will be officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
