Mother Edith Mae Driskell was born on August 12, 1925 in Pelham, Georgia to the late Elder Cone and Carrie Felton Cone, Edith was an only child.
Mother Driskell dedicated her life to Christ at the age of 12 years old. She was a loyal member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, she a member of the Senior Choir and the women mission.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas C. Driskell; three sons Omar W. Sharif (Thomas Clarence Driskell, Alfred J. Myers Sr. and Reginald T. Holt.
She leave to cherish her memories one loving and devoted son Vincent C. Pete Holt; 6 grandchildren Angela M. Cooper (Donald), Retired Master Sqt. Alfred J. Myers Jr.(kenya), Jeremiah Sharif, Khalilah A. Parrish (Kenneth), Naim Sharif and Monika Jones; 7 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law Mary S. Myers; cousins Carrie Bell Fair and a devoted cousin Eula Mae Mitchell and a host of other relatives and friends.

Home going service for Ms. Edith Driskell will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 1:00 P. M. at St. James Baptist Church with Rev. W. C. Morgan interim pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery.
