Ms. Patricia Ann Patterson Copeland was born on July 20, 1951 in Lowndes County, Georgia to the late Mr. McClary Patterson and Mrs. Louise Harris Patterson.
Patricia worked at South Georgia Medical Center for twenty-five years. As a child she attended Payton AME Church where she served as an Usher.
Patricia married Turner Copeland. She was preceded in death by her husband Turner Copeland; her parents McClary and Louise Patterson; two brothers McClary Patterson Jr. and Henry Charles Patterson as well as her niece April Stokes.
She leaves to cherish her memorial one son Stacey Young; two grandchildren Stacey Young Jr. and Kianna Young; her brothers and sisters J. W. Patterson, William Julius Patterson (Jennifer), Shirley Patterson Thomas, Evelyn Stokes (Joe) and Linda Campbell (Richard); aunt Ora Lee Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:00 P. M. til 7:00 P. M.
Home going service for Ms. Patricia Copeland will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 12:00 noon at Payton A. M. E. Church Rev. White is the pastor and Pastor Felicia Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
