Anthony Jerome Mayfield, died February 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Emma Mayfield. Surviving are his brother, Willie Mayfield, Jr. (Margaret); niece, Alexis Mayfield; four nephews, Adrian, Adam, Alan, and Andre Mayfield; eight great nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, March 3 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Robert Coleman, officiating.

Condolences to the Mayfield family in the loss of your loved one. Anthony was my JMHS 1970 classmate. He was very quiet but his presence was known throughout our classmates and through the JMHS hallways. He'll be missed but his memories will last forever.
