Bernard L. Bailey, Sr., 93, of Washington, DC, formerly of Richmond, died January 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah S. Bailey. Surviving are three sons, Bernard L. Jr., Kevin J. and Brian A. (Annette) Bailey; a daughter, Carolyn S. Bailey; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Florence Henderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, February 9 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 10 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
