Bertha B. Taylor, 87, of Mechanicsville, Va., died January 31, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Taylor, Jr. and brother, Ovel James. Surviving are her son, Everett L. Bolling (Carolyn); 6 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Traci Davis and Cassandra Watt (Michael); other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held Monday, February 7 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. followed by a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. memorial service at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. at 6 p.m. followed by a walk through visitation until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 8 at 11 a.m. at Scott's Chapel. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
