Mr. Brooks was a longtime friend of the Patron/Maddox family. We all used his service whenever anyone passed. I was sorry to hear of his passing. May he see all his friends and my family in the great beyond. You will be missed. Lovely the Maddox Family.
Carla and Joanne, I offer you and your family condolences during your time of bereavement. Your father was a good man with kind words that he gave to lift people up. He was greatly revered in the funeral business and much loved in the community. He has now gone to be with Corey and other family members that went on before. God has them with Him now. I know that your heart is heavy and that your chest feels like it could crack open. All of you, continue to hold on to God's hand. He will bring you through. Carla, I love you and I am here for you.
To the Brooks Family, On behalf of the Bullock family, we are truly saddened by your loss. We send our deepest condolences to Carla, Joann and the family. Mr. Brooks was not only a treasured long time neighbor but a family friend and servant to his southside community. His reputation and legacy in the mortuary business will always be remembered and most highly regarded. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. We pray that God will grant your family peace and comfort during this time of bereavement.
With Love, The Bullock Family

My Deepest Condolences to the Brooks Family..... Carlton & the late Elder Andrew L Rivers we very good friends for many years. Their daily stop every day was The Golden Corral on Midlothian Va. They all sat in a corner and had a good time talking, laughing and telling jokes. Lol ... Both of them (men) love β€οΈ to dress and always ware matching shoes π. Mr Carlton always kept a big smile on his face at all times . "Don't Weep Don't Moan Carlton has Gone on Home" Rest in Peace Carlton has served this Community well with all of the services down through the years. Amen ππ½ππ½ππ½
Carla & Joanne My condolences to both of you & your family.
Rest in peace, knowing that your dad was highly respected in the funeral business. He served countless families with dignity and respect, never judging anyone based on their lack of resources. Instead, he treated every family as if they were his own. He deeply believed in the importance of family and loved each of you, Carla, Joann, and Coy (who have passed away too soon).
A sharp dresser and a charismatic smile made him many friends who were touched by his kindness and wisdom. He believed in knowing who you are and where you come from, and Mr. Brooks, you served the South Side community with integrity.
You will be truly missed, Tiffany Herndon
Well done, my faithful servant. Matthew 25:23

Condolences to the Brooks Family on behalf of Mr. Carlton. He was such a nice and quiet man. Always had something nice and encouraging to say. God bless his family and keep your arms wrapped around them. May Mr. Carlton Rest In Peace.
Our sympathy goes out to the Brooks family in the Homegoing of their beloved father, grandfather, sister and all who knew him. We knew him from just about around five or six o'clock in the afternoon he, Ms. Flora and Carla would stroll into Golden Corral where already awaits him his "City Council" and the who is who, and who is not doing their job on City Council begins. We had some fun days together taking up the whole back section of Golden Corral with the late Mr. Green, Jimmy and Gloria, James Brown Mr. Massenburg, Mr. Howard, Phyllis and Randy, Eddie Hobson, Mr. Rivers and so many who have gone on before us. He was loved and respected with his quiet demeanor. Left to remember his words of encouragement, advice whether we wanted it or not, and his political advice that we surely weren't in the mood for but listened anyway are Leroy, Stan, Doug, Cat, Eleanor, Ms. Flora, Hazel and so many others to mention. Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you, until we meet again. Your Golden Corral Gang
