Sending prayers and condolences to the family. I remember Carolyn and Lisbeth and family as neighbors on Moss Side Ave, the family at the wonderful "house by the Park"(Battery Park) for many years growing up. They were always nice and friendly girls and good neighbors. Those were great years growing up with a "village" where we all looked out for one another and a sense of security, good years! May the Lord give strength for the family to get through this difficult time. Michael D. Gray 2907Moss Side Ave.( I still live here!)
Carolyn was a treasured member of One Voice Chorus for many years. Her voice rang with joy in song whenever we gathered together, and her sense of humor entertained us many a time when it was needed most. I especially remember her kindness to me during a very difficult time. May you, her family, find peace in knowing that she touched many lives, and is remembered with love and gratitude. Lisbeth and family, my sincerest condolences to you all. I have fond memories of Carolyn, Lisbeth and her parents which were my godparents. Carolyn always had a good sense of humor and she was a kind person. Our families were very close growing up. May she rest in peace. - Donna Taylor Fair
To the Family of Carolyn Thompson - Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Carolyn and I were IT professionals at A.H. Robins and very good friends. She was a few years older and offered wisdom as well. I learned of her illness about a month ago and called her. We chatted for about an hour and pretty much caught up on a lot. We both were laid off as part of a massive Robins IT restructuring. I will always remember her for her kindness, wisdom and friendship. May she rest in peace. Love, Tyrone and Vanesta Gaines
