Cassandra Rene Jackson, of Chesterfield, a loving wife, mother, sister and cherished friend to many, passed February 20, 2024. Her life was a testament to family, generosity and compassion.
Cassandra was born on March 1, 1953, to Kenneth and Mozelle Robinson. Her entire life she has held her family in the highest regard, considering them her greatest treasure and the cornerstone of her life. Her family’s well-being and happiness were her top priorities, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and supporting everyone with unwavering love and care.
Married for 45 years to her beloved husband, Anthony Jackson Sr., Cassandra was the epitome of love and devotion. Her son, Anthony was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment of being a mother.
In her professional life, Cassandra served as a Logistics Specialist Manager at the US Post Office. Her dedication and hard work in this role left a lasting impact on all those she worked with.
A member of Garland Avenue Baptist Church, Cassandra found solace and community in her faith, embodying its teachings of kindness and compassion.
Cassandra Rene Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mozelle Robinson and her brothers, Kenneth “Junior” Robinson and Eugene Robinson. Surviving are her loving husband, Anthony Jackson Sr.; son, Anthony Jackson II (Kayla Jackson); brothers, Henry Leroy Robinson (Veronica Robinson) and Derrick Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Henry (Darwin Henry), Cynthia Grimes and Shebra Booth; brothers-in-law, Michael Miller (Barbara Miller) and Darryl Miller (Denise Miller); best friends, Beverly Mitchell and Marie Mayo, and many dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Cassandra Rene Jackson's legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness and generosity.
May she rest in eternal peace.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Garland Avenue Baptist Church, 2700 Garland Avenue. Dr. Jeffrey Smith, Pastor. Arrangements by Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd.
