Obituary For Charlotte Jones Hobson

Charlotte J. Hobson, 95, of Richmond, passed away on September 1,2021. Charlotte is survived by her three devoted sons, William “Douglas” Hobson of Varina, VA; Charles Hobson Sr. (Regina) of Germantown, MD; and Leon Hobson (Evette) of Mechanicsville, VA. She also leaves to cherish her memories five grandchildren, Chasity Joyner-Williams (James), Charles Hobson, Jr (Crystal), Ashley Hobson, Jasmine Hobson, and Lauren Hobson; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Joyner and Harlon Williams as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Tuesday, September 7 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 8 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Herbert Ponder, officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mt. From the few years I lived with my relatives (the Dysons) on "V" Street, I came to know Mrs. Hobson. She was such a wonderful person with a beautiful smile & kind heart.
