Cynthia Mobley Garner

I am so sad to learn of Mrs. Garner’s passing. She was my 4th grade teacher. I still remember her beautiful voice and laughter so clearly. Condolences to the family and many students who were touched by her.

May the Lord comfort and give you strength in this time of sorrow, a sweet soul has left this world but she rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Our hearts and prayer's are will you all.

Mrs. Garner was my 4th grade teacher at Maymont. I remember her so fondly because she taught me how to write in cursive. And once I got it, I felt bamboozled lol. My handwriting was so much like hers that I was always her go to person to write on the chalkboard. Til this day, I still love my penmanship because of her! She was one of my absolute favorite teachers...so genuine and kind and passionate about teaching us. I’ve always remember her. My condolences and prayers to her family and friends. Shay Singleteary

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Cynthia Garner. I worked with her for many years at Greene Elementary. She was a kind, sweet, and caring individual.
