Donald T. Moseley, Sr. was a spectacular husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His kind, loving, and highly entertaining demeanor enabled him to positively impact all of those around him and will allow his legacy to live on well past his untimely death, on November 19, 2023, at the age of 41.
Donald graduated from Manchester High School in Chesterfield County, VA and later earned his HVAC license. In addition to his full-time work as a maintenance supervisor with Steelhead Management, he was truly a jack of all trades and the one that everyone would call on when they needed home repairs or improvements.
You could also call on Donald if you wanted to have a great time as he was always the life of the party. He would light up any room he entered with his silly jokes, contagious laughter, and vibrant dance moves. He loved nothing more than spending time and having fun with family and friends. To know him was to love him, and he will be deeply missed by many.
Donald met the love of his life, Veronica Brown-Moseley, over 20 years ago. They were happily married for 17 years and have two amazing teenagers, Donald Moseley, Jr. and Zaliyah Moseley.
Donald was also survived by his mother, Opal Moseley; his father, Donald Glasspie (Louise Phillips); his sister, Monique Phillips; his two brothers, Donovan Moseley and J’von Phillips; his mother-in-law, Rosalind Brown; his father-in-law, Ronald Brown; his brother-in-law, Ronald Brown II; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Purnell and Gloria Glasspie; his maternal grandparents, Martha Moseley and Robert Henry; and his brother, Dontae Moseley.
Donald can be viewed on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00pm at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Donald’s Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Scott’s Chapel, 116 E.
