I remember my mother whose sister was married to her brother and her discussing teaching. My wife who was a teacher, remembers her as an outstanding teacher. We love her! CCWoodson
The transitioning of Mrs. Eddie Patrick is like the closing of an era in the history of First African Baptist Church. She was a role model of patience. She was woman of quiet grace and dignity. She was kind, generous and loving, and she was always proud to say that she was a member of "First Church". She will be sorely missed, but as Christians we hold on to the belief that she is now in the arms of her Lord, who she served for more than 100 years. With our deepest sympathy, Rev. Delores Booker and Family
