Edward Grant Peebles, 70, of Richmond, transitioned July 6, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. Peebles and Sara Carter Peebles; one brother, Charles T. Peebles; grandparents, Charles H. and Rosa Pryor Carter and Richard and Elnora Fauntleroy Peebles; aunts, Emma C. Patterson (Edward), Audrey C. Stewart (Roosevelt), Blanche P. Hawkes (Henry), Verna, Mabel and Irene E. Peebles; uncles, Ernest A. Carter, Sr. (Estelle and Charles H. Carter, Jr. and brother-in-law, Boris D. Holmes. Grant leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Richard C. Peebles, Sr. (Esther); two sisters, Rhonda Peebles Holmes and Diane Peebles Neal (Jack); sons, Jamel Peebles (Dannie) and Grant Peebles (Sierra); four grandchildren, nieces, Danielle R. Cosby, Michele Peebles Jennings (Dr. Torino), and Stephanie Holmes; nephews, Dr. Richard C. Peebles, Jr.(Princess) and William A. Holmes (Carla); a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, one devoted, Patrice Stewart Jones; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Mr. Ed you will be.dearly. missed by Kindra, the boys and I. You gave me friendship and guidance when I needed it most at the start of my working at the show. Kindra remembers when you stood up for her when she needed it and the friendship you gave her an the boys. May God bless you an protect you.

Mr Ed , there are no words to describe the heartache we are feeling for your Family and Friends , over the many years that we knew you Garry at least 40 and Garfield 16 and me around 30 you have definitely left awonderful memories in our hearts I'm thankful I have so many beautiful pictures of you with my family and friends Garfield loved you when he come to ticket box and you would give him a candy and smile the kids loved you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️All our prayers for your family and our thoughts with you all amen 🙏
