Fannie Naomi Hopkins Bailey, 93, of Richmond, peacefully departed this life November 26, 2023. She was a Richmond native, graduating from Maggie L. Walker High School in 1948. Fannie was a hard-working, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and a longtime member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glennroy and Thelma Ivey Hopkins and grandson, Glennroy D. Bailey, Jr. Surviving are her two devoted sons, Emmett C. V. Bailey, Jr. (Brenda) and Glennroy D. Bailey Sr. (Elnorist); four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh Street. Entombment Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
