Obituary For Hazel LaVerne Jackson

Hazel L. Jackson, 83, of Richmond, died April 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by three children, Patricia Miles Henry, William Haywood Miles, III and Rosalyn L. Miles Freeman. Surviving are her husband, Vernard L. Jackson; three daughters, Pamela D. Miles, Janice Miles Hector and Sheila E. Miles; three sons, Michael (Eartha), Martin A. and Warren Miles; two step daughters, Vickie Andrews and Vernette Trent; host of grandchildren including devoted grandson, Corey Lee (Katanya), great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Hynes and Carolyn Robinson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland, where viewing will be held Wednesday, April 28 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3300 R. Street. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
