Obituary For Hazel M. Johnson
Hazel Mae Johnson, 82, of Richmond, died April 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman E. Johnson and daughter, Stephanie Austin. Surviving are her daughter, Jacqueline J. Ampey; three sons, Sherman Jr. (Lynn), Antonio and Rodney Johnson; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, April 10 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m.Tuesday, April 11 at Great Hope Baptist Church, 2101 Venable Street. Rev. Melvin Shearin II, officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

Whosever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. My beautiful oldest sister was like a second mother to me. She always shared her prayers and wisdom with our family.
