Henry J. Preston, 66, of Chesterfield, died November 22, 2020. Surviving are his wife, Dora M. Preston; daughter, Doran J. Broadnax (Leonard); son, Edward J. Preston; 2 grandchildren, Preston Broadnax and Jurnee Preston; 2 sisters, Gloria Witcher and Diane Preston; brother, Cornelius Preston; sister-in-law, Florene Smith (Ronald); 2 brothers-in-law, Jeffery (Shelia) and Kenneth Smith; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Sunday, November 29 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. A private funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. I was one of Henry's coaches at Hermitage HS back in the early 1970s. I remember him as a good athlete and friendly person. I often ran into his sister, Diane, when she worked at Costco. What a great family. They are in my thoughts and prayers. Bruce Bowen
