I am beyond saddened to hear of Israel's passing. Israel was one of the first people to openly welcome me to the Bass Pro team when I started. He was such a beautiful, loving and warm soul no matter what was going on or how he felt he always had a smile for everyone. I am blessed that I met and walked with this beautiful human being. May his family and loved ones find comfort knowing that Israel was very much loved not only by them but by anyone who truly got to know him.

I was so saddened to hear of Israel's passing. I had the absolute joy of having known him since he was a little boy, and I can't picture him without thinking of that beautiful, wide smile that lit up his face and my heart. He had the sweetest, kindest spirit. To know him was to instantly love him, and I am so grateful that he was placed in my life. Jackie and Lin, know that you are in my prayers-- continue to hold tightly to the wonderful memories you have of Israel, and I will do the same. Blessings to you, Shena Crittendon

Israel was definitely a light to all who he encountered! So grateful that VSU allowed our paths to cross and build a lasting friendship and brotherhood! I just saw him couple months ago at Bass Pro and would never have thought it would be the last time seeing him. Even then, his spirit was high as always.

Will forever remember my friend and brother! Cary Goodman

My heart is so heavy. I am sending all my love and prayers to Israel's family and friends. He is truly one of a kind. I will alaways remember being at work and hearing "Hey boo" or "Hey girlfriend" and talking about how we are doing and what we have been up to and seeing him making Bass Pro beautiful, the way only Israel could make it. Israel was one of those few pure souls. His laugh was infectious, and usually heard long before you saw him. I have so many fond and happy memories working with him, and I know for a fact that he had that impact on everyone he met. Rest in Paradise, my sweet friend! - Erin

To Victor Jones,

Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious, and death such a thief. The depths of your pain I cannot comprehend, but I'll stand alongside you in the darkness, my friend. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from your arms, but still held in your heart. -John Mark Green

Israel, I only knew you for a short while but in that time you were such a light and you will be missed. - Tesha, NY

Israel walked into my life 10 years ago when I started at Bass Pro Shops as the fudge maker - on that day a beautiful friendship blossomed in Israel being one of my best friends, brother that I never had and most of all my family. His contagious laughter and that smile was the light of my day. There were times (a lot) that we would be cutting up and he would say "he couldn't deal with me " There wasn't a day that went by when working with Israel that I didn't receive the biggest hug and asked how I was doing. He was my partner in crime along with shopping and day tripping and of course lunch and sometimes dinner buddy. I am forever blessed and thankful that this beautiful soul came into my life. Israel you will forever be in my heart. I miss you so very much, until we meet again watch over us. I love and adore you.

❤️-Laurie
