James McKinley Cypress, 72, of Mechanicsville, VA, died January 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dr. Audrey Williams Cypress. Surviving are his wife, Constance H. Cypress, son, Brett M. Cypress (LaToya); daughter, Dr. Dana J. Cypress; stepson, SFC Keith P. Cooper; stepdaughter, Keyonda K. Tawiah; two grandsons, Gabriel and Noah Cypress; five step grandchildren, four sisters, one brother, and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21st at Runneymede Holiness Church, 7711 White Marsh Road, Elberon, VA 23846. A private family graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
