We are truly saddened by the loss of Jane. We have shared so many dear memories and special times together. Sending comfort and prayers to the family. H. Ray and Diane Davis
Our family met and was welcomed to Richmond Henrico Tpke by Aunt Jane and Uncle Ivan in 1972. We bought the house next door to them and never felt like strangers. It did not take long for Ivan and Jane to offer their support to us and our children - as well as being present at the birth of one at home. Over the next decades our friendship and sense of being part of family remained even as we moved away and our children became adults. Jane always invited us back for her fish-fry event when we could reconnect to so many old friends. She shared many a story while she fed both our minds and our bodies. Through many years we shared the ups and downs of our lives and the loss of Granny Vera and others in this marvelous gift of life that does have an ending. Our prayers and well wishes to Ivan, Van, Cagney, and the many friends that loved and respected Jane for her gift of life-long friendship.

Sending our prayers and sincere sympathy to the family of our dear cousin Jane. Cousins from Martinsville, Va. - Ophelia, Maxine, Audrey, Gwen, and Erma and also cousin Marie Turner.
Ivan, Van and family, my sympathy and prayers are indeed with you now and always. Jane's absence from our presence is a hard one to deal with...she was loyal and faithful to the very end. A lifetime of memories that made us all "family" will surely bring comfort. She loved unconditionally, never met a stranger, was resourceful beyond measure, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She taught me the true meaning of "sisterhood" which has nothing to do with biology! Right now our hearts are broken and the void is already supremely felt, but we were blessed that she graced our lives. God bless you always. I love you dearly. 💗 Mary DePillars
