We just found out about Mrs Urquhart's passing. She was such a beautiful, kind lady. Singing in the choir with her as our director for 10 plus years was such a joy. Ms. Urquhart was my third grade teacher. The lessons she taught me have stayed with me all my life. She was the epitome of grace and dignity, and she will be sorely missed.

Very sorry for your loss! Maxine came to North Carolina 33 years ago to sing at our wedding reception. My late mother in law, Maude, loved to hear her sing and had requested she sing Jesus is the Center of my Joy, which she sang beautifully.
