Langston Randolph Davis, Sr., 80, of Henrico, died July 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trustee Melvin L. and Deaconess Helen R. Davis; son, Anthony Davis; three brothers, Melvin L. Jr., Revelle R. and Wendel F. Davis. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Brown Davis; son, Langston R. Davis, Jr.; two daughters, Lindsey Davis-Godfrey (Charles M.) and Ashley Davis-Scott (Eric L.); stepson, Thomas Davis (Alyson); six grandchildren, Langston III, Hannah, Madison, Clark, Hailey and Luci; five sisters, Dr. Adelaide Flamer, Carolyn Harris (Mike), Nancy Elam (Henry), Anna Hudson and Deborah Davis; two brothers, Kermit and Leon Davis; sister-in-law, Billie D. Brown; four brothers-in-law, Clyde J., Ronald L. Stephen (Jeri) and Edward (Tammie) Brown; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Davis was the president of Davis Brothers Construction Company, Inc. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. from 2 to 5 p.m. A private family entombment service will be held Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
