Le'Velle T. Shepard, was born October 21, 1985 to Angelina Shepard and Lawrence Lewis and accepted his wings on November 5, 2024 peacefully at home.
Le'Velle was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Shepard and his father, Lawrence Lewis (Big Man); grandmother, Thomaseen Kelly; grandfather, John Spivey, and aunts, Barbara Shepard Kelly and Betty Zimmerman.
Le'Velle received his education from the Richmond Public School System.
Le'Velle enjoyed life, spending time with family and friends. He spent adventurous hours with his children at the park, reading to them and just enjoying family time which became a big part of his life through the years. He enjoyed playing video games, loved to be outdoors, reading, and was a true music lover. Le'Velle was a true Dallas Cowboys fan which was a favorite team of his mom. Le' Velle loved the color purple.
Le'Velle experienced life challenging obstacles even through those obstacles that he overcame he found determination, commitment, strength from his family and friends . He believed in accountability and would often offer words of hope and inspiration to those who needed it. It was nothing he didn't mind helping out when it came to his family, friends and all those who he crossed paths with.
Le'Velle is survived by: his Love, Companion, Friend, and Wife Ashley Shepard in which they shared 3 beautiful and rambunctious children; a daughter, Le'Vella; two sons; Le'Velle Jr. and Angelo. Two sisters; Shamekia Jenkins (Courtney Jenkins Jr.) of Georgia, and Alexandra (Nicci) Howard of Richmond, Va. two brothers; Glen Burney(Ge) of Richmond, Va, Kamarion Jeter of Henrico, Va. Two aunts; Eleanor Faye Shepard and Maria Banks both from Richmond, Va. Uncle; John Howards (Stephanie) of Richmond, Va. Stepfather Tony Howard (Shell) of Richmond, Va. Stepmom; Denise Jeter of Henrico, Va. Grandparents; David and Myrtle Shepard, Louisburg, NC. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kimberly and Eugene Miles of Prince George, Va. Special Friends: James Spruill (Laquita) of Lynchburg, VA Helena Holder of Richmond, VA. Kiara Washington of Richmond, VA and Tyonna Gilmore of South Boston, VA.
