Linwood Richard Lewis, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, died December 21, 2022. Linwood was a graduate of Highland Springs High School. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S.Marine Corp where he was honorably discharged. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed cooking for everyone. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Lewis, Sr. and his brother, Bernard Lewis Jr. Surviving are his children, Deanna Jones, Azure Jones, Linwood Coles and Kemar Lewis; six grandchildren, Tyriana Robinson, Jerode Greene, Jeriyah Greene, Zayvon Griffin, Reniyah Coleman and Carter Thompson; mother, Emily Davis, (Lawrence); three sisters, Jacquelyn Jones (James), Carolyn Jackson and Patria Gray, three brothers, Corey Lewis, Corey Jackson Sr, (Tanika) and Eric Jackson; stepsister, Yamesha Davis; stepbrother, Yamar Davis; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
