Songs of Memories linger on.... In the rising of the sun and in it’s going down, We will remember you. In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, We will remember you. In the opening of buds and in the warmth of Summer, We will remember you. In the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of Autumn, We will remember you. In the beginning of the year and when it ends, We will remember you. As long as we live, you shall live too, for you are a part of us as,We remember You!
With Heartfelt Sympathy, Dr. Carolyn Campbell and Family

The memory of Ms. Lois Mapp will forever hold a very, very special place in my heart.
Having served under her Minister of Music directorship for 3 years at Third Street Bethel, AME, I count those times as one of the highlights of my life in church music ministry. The mutual respect that we shared for each other as musicians was enhanced by a warm friendship of understanding and support. I especially am so appreciative of the patience that Ms. Mapp showed in training me on playing the church organ. She gave me valuable tips on how to manage the service and support the ministry of Dr. Arthur Jones. Both of these treasured individuals embraced me and my talents in an extraordinary way and, for this, I will be forever grateful.
As an extension of her, I was introduced to her daughter Gwen Fausch and son-in-law James Carney who both drew close to me with friendship and loving care along with so many other choir members and officials at the church. I still feel very connected to Third Street AME . . . in great part because of Ms. Mapp.
My heart is heavy with sadness for this loss, however, my memories and affection for this family will forever be strong. Please know that I am sincerely thinking of you and keeping you lifted in prayer during this difficult time of separation. I thank God for Lois Mapp and how He allowed her to touch so many other lives and souls in Richmond, VA and beyond as an accomplished Musician and Friend.
With My Love & Respect!

I am so very sorry to see the news of your Mother's passing. I met her at a church service and we immediately clicked. We got together for lunch and ended up talking for hours. She was such a wise and endearing woman. For me, she was an angel, as she entered my life at the very best timer, and I truly needed her advice and wisdom in my life. I have been so busy at work and had been meaning to contact her. Last we communicated she told me she had had health issues. I was shocked and saddened to see her obituary this morning. When is her service? I would be honored to attend. With deepest sympathy. Linda Forem, 804-0869-4861. LindaForem@lizmoore.com
