Obituary For Mack Winslow Fant

Mack Winslow Fant (aka: Henry Mack Griffin), 66, of Henrico, departed this life January 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother and adopted father, Louis & Olivia Fant, and one brother, Anthony Winston. Mack is survived by 3 daughters, Ami Dowden-Fant, Aisha & Shanice Bentley, and one son, Devin Bentley, 3 grandchildren, Nora-Zayne Dowden-Fant, Amari Acosta, and JaNiyah Bentley, his natural father, Henry A. Griffin, Jr., 2 sisters, Pamela G. Tucker, Penny G. Berry, and one brother, Foster A. Griffin, also hispartner-in-life, D. Teresa Dowden, extended family, Linda & Phil Thorpe, and a host of caring and lovingrelatives and friends. His devoted friends were Randy Story, Michael Waller , and Janet Brown, also many others. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA where viewing will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021, from 10 am to 6 pm. Service will be held at 2 pm, Monday, February 8, 2021 in Scott's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment private. There will be live streaming via Scott's Funeral Home. Rest in paradise. Mack

Mack was my cousin Tommy's son. For me, he was my little cousin. I still remember him as a child, Sunday afternoons at my house, a little person to play with who was a bit shorter than I was. Mack left a lasting legacy through his children, and I want to feel that he is with his mother, Olivia, and his adopted father, Lou. Together forever.

A wonderful and caring neighbor. Miss you Mack and your mother. My sincere sympathy to the family. Vergie Cowans

To my family May god continue to bless each of us, if ever we need direction , from our Heavenly Father it's now. Amid, and all children's , remember and Cherish The sweetness ,and. Discipline Mack shared with You'll, I know you didn't always like it , but look at you now. You'll have lost some precious jewels in your life, (BUT GOD). Trust in god and your pain will lighten , that's what god does for us. He was a great man, hold your heads up as high as you can it want be easy, but I know from experience it will get better May our love ones Rest In Peace we will meet them, again one day, god bless us all. My only child is the first grandchild of the Fant/Griffin family. Mack (formerly Henry Griffin) was a great partner and we did well, as we could, in her life with his parents backup. Mack was a stubborn, hard headed man but he would always redeem himself and verbalize when he needed to. Mack made mistakes but was always forgiven. Mack suffered for years and was a walking miracle, God allowed him to stay until his mother transitioned, that was his goal, they are so missed.

I know losing someone who has been a part of your life for so many years must be difficult... May it help to ease the hurt you feel now to know that others care and are thinking of you and praying for you at this sad time. RIP Mack Elouise White

It was so sad to here on Mack's passing so soon after hearing of his mother's death. The Fant Family have my condolences and prayers. Mack was a devoted son and father that will always be remembered. RIP Mack,
